These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of repairguide.net (the “site”), operated by Repair Guide (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Repair Guide does not perform repairs, employ, recommend, verify, license or rate technicians or repair businesses, and does not provide quotes. Any arrangement you make with a repair business is solely between you and that business.

3. Prices and the cost estimator

Price ranges shown on the site, including in the Fair Pricing Guide and the Repair Cost Estimator, are indicative United States ranges compiled from published third-party cost guides. They are provided for general comparison only, are not quotes or offers, and may not reflect prices in your area, for your model, or at the time you read them. Actual costs depend on the diagnosis, parts, labour rates, location and other factors. Always obtain a written quote from the repairer.

4. Safety

Many repairs involve risks including electric shock, fire, water damage, pressurised refrigerant and heavy lifting. Our guides only suggest simple, non-invasive checks. Do not attempt electrical, gas, refrigerant, sealed-system or internal board work yourself; use an appropriately qualified professional and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Attempting repairs yourself may also affect a manufacturer’s warranty.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, submitting spam or unlawful content through the contact form, or using automated means to extract content in a way that places an unreasonable load on the site.
